Kyle Karnes

When Kyle was seven, he chose to do his first musical instead of playing baseball. During the curtain call, his parents knew they’d never get him off the stage, and he hasn’t stopped performing since. He went on to receive a BA in Music from Miami University where he trained with Audrey Luna in vocal performance. While at Miami, he was a member of the Miami University Men’s Glee Club, and was a founding member and assistant music director of the male a capella group Open Fifth. During his time with the group, Open Fifth toured the Midwest, recorded two professional albums and an EP, and was nominated for three Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARA) awards. Kyle currently lives in Cincinnati with his wife, Sarah Zaffiro, and works as a web designer and developer. He is excited to make a return to vocal music as a Guest Artist with No Promises!
